Father Dies Days After Fatally Shooting Daughter in Strongsville Home

A Strongsville father has died several days after he allegedly shot and killed his adult daughter inside their Rock Creek Circle home. Police say the incident happened on Halloween night, when officers responded to reports of gunfire and found 49-year-old Gina Guyer critically wounded. She later died from her injuries. The suspect, 74-year-old Gene Tomcho, was taken to the hospital with self-inflicted injuries and placed under police supervision. Authorities confirm the case was domestic in nature and that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
