Elthorne Park Fatal Stabbing: Undisclosed Female injured in Hornsey – Police and Ambulance Respond

Emergency services were called to the Hazellville Road / Elthorne Park area in Hornsey, north London, on the evening of Monday 3 November, after reports of a knife attack. At approximately 8:45 pm a woman was seriously injured following what is described as a stabbing. Witnesses say a large police and ambulance presence descended on the scene.

According to local sources, the victim is a female and her injuries have been described by bystanders as “serious.” The exact nature of her wounds and the circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear at this time. A cordon was put in place by officers from the Metropolitan Police Service and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated the victim on scene before transporting her to hospital.

At this stage the Met Crime team is believed to be investigating. One local resident said: “The sirens were everywhere, police and ambulance. It must’ve happened very quickly.”

Residents in the immediate area of Elthorne Park and Hazellville Road recall seeing multiple ambulance vehicles and police officers entering the park and nearby streets. Some nearby homes and businesses were asked to stay clear while the scene was secured and evidence gathered.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. If you were in the area around Hazellville Road or Elthorne Park at that time and saw anything, you are urged to call the Met on 101 or reference the incident number (which the police will supply) or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

No arrests are confirmed as yet, and the motive is not publicly established. The police are working to establish what led to the attack, whether there were multiple perpetrators or victims, and whether this incident is linked to any broader pattern of violence in the area.
