A tragic crash early Saturday morning on the San Diego Freeway claimed the life of a 33-year-old woman identified as Brittany Anthony, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

Brittany Anthony CAR ACCIDENT
The California Highway Patrol reported that Brittany’s Mazda sedan was involved in an initial accident on the northbound 405 Freeway, just south of Burbank Boulevard, around 3:30 a.m. After the collision, her vehicle became disabled in the traffic lanes and was struck by two SUVs — a Ford and a Toyota.
Sadly, Brittany was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said the driver of the Toyota is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. The identity of the Ford driver has not been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Officials remind drivers to always stay alert and never drive under the influence. Brittany’s death serves as another painful reminder of how quickly lives can be lost due to impaired or careless driving.
Family and friends are mourning the loss of Brittany Anthony, remembering her as a kind and loving person whose life ended far too soon.
