CHICAGO — The southbound lanes on the Dan Ryan Expressway at the I-57 split are reopen after being closed for several hours early Sunday morning following a triple fatal crash, according to Illinois State Police.
ISP says troopers responded to the location just before 2 a.m. for the report of a triple fatal crash. Southbound traffic was being diverted off the Dan Ryan Expressway at 95th Street near the scene of the crash.
All lanes reopened just before 7:30 a.m. The investigation is active, ISP says, and no other information is available at this time.
