UPDATE — Train Stabbing Incident in Cambridgeshire:
Police have confirmed that ten people were injured, including several in critical condition, after a violent stabbing attack aboard a Doncaster to London train that came to an emergency stop at Huntingdon station late Saturday night.
According to British Transport Police, officers responded within minutes after reports of multiple passengers being attacked by men armed with knives. Two suspects have since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody as detectives continue their investigation.
Authorities say there is no indication that the incident was terrorism-related, describing it instead as a targeted and isolated act of violence. Forensic teams and detectives remain at the scene this morning, collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.
Several victims are being treated at nearby hospitals, with a number of them fighting for their lives. Commuters reported scenes of chaos and fear as passengers scrambled for safety during the attack.
