ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman has died after being fatally shot in the area of Gothic Street and Pulaski Park, according to the Rochester Police Department.
In the early morning, November 2, at about 1:50 a.m., officers went to the area of Gothic Street and Pulaski Park for a report of gunshots. On scene, they found a woman in her 30s with one gunshot wound to her upper body. She was taken to the hospital, where she would be pronounced dead after arriving.
Witnesses report hearing a loud argument and commotion in the street before shots were fired. RPD is still investigating the circumstances that led to this incident.
The identity of the victim has not been released yet, and it is also unknown if there are any suspects.
