FERGUSON, Mo. — Ferguson police are investigating after a boy was seriously hurt in a shooting Saturday night.
Police said at around 8 p.m., officers were sent to a group of townhomes on Vickie Place off Northwinds Estates Drive. The 911 caller said they heard a shot and thought someone was injured on the parking lot.
More 911 calls came in to dispatch as officers made their way to the scene.
Police said when officers arrived, they found a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. First responders gave immediate aid before taking him to the hospital with “extensive injuries.”
As of Saturday night, the department said it did not know if his condition was stable or unstable.
Police said everyone who was involved in the incident were juveniles, though further details on exact ages, how many suspects were involved and what lead to the shooting were not available.
