Authorities have announced that two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the weekend shooting at a party in Jefferson County that left several people injured and one critically hurt.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, investigators have been working around the clock to track down everyone involved in the violent altercation, which broke out late Saturday night at a large house party attended by dozens of people. Witnesses told deputies that a fight escalated into gunfire, sending guests running for cover.
The two newly arrested suspects, whose names have not yet been released, are now facing multiple charges, including assault and reckless endangerment. Deputies say the investigation remains active, and more arrests could follow as evidence and witness statements are reviewed.
Sheriff’s officials are urging anyone with video or information about the shooting to contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
Authorities called the quick arrests a “major step toward justice” for those affected by the senseless act of violence.
