BREAKING UPDATE:
Authorities in St. Paul are investigating a deadly shooting that left two people dead late Sunday night. Police responded to reports of gunfire in the area and discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives have cordoned off the area as they collect evidence and interview witnesses. Investigators have not yet released the victims’ identities or confirmed any possible motive.
Police say no arrests have been made so far, and they are urging anyone with information or surveillance footage from the area to contact the St. Paul Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
Officials called the incident “a tragic act of violence” and assured the community that additional patrols will be present as the investigation continues.
