CHESTNUTHILL TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report that an argument turned shooting left a man injured and another man facing attempted homicide charges.
On Thursday, October 23, around 1:55 p.m., troopers were called to a home on Greenview Drive in Chestnuthill Township for a report of a shooting.

Through investigation, police said two men were fighting when the suspect, Joseph A. Wadas, 60, of Brodheadsville, shot at the other man twice, hitting him once in the wrist.
Wadas was arrested and charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and related offenses. He remains in the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
The victim, a 34-year-old man, was treated for the gunshot wound.
