Jeremy Johnson car accident
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10:53 a.m. near mile post 22 in Washington Township. Investigators say Jeremy was driving a 2016 Peterbilt southwest on S.R. 93 when the truck and its trailer overturned after navigating a curve, striking a guardrail on the east side of the road. The vehicle then crossed into the opposite lane, colliding with a 2008 Ford Escape driven by 43-year-old Brett Hancock of Ironton. Thankfully, Hancock was not injured.
Emergency crews arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, Jeremy Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. His sudden and tragic passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the entire Nelsonville community.
