ALTOONA, Ala. — It is with profound sadness that we remember Amber Nicole Lee Blackwood, 22, of Altoona, who passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Born on September 24, 2003, in Cullman to Daniel Lee and Kelly Smith Lee, Amber was a 2021 graduate of J.B. Pennington High School. She recently achieved her real estate license and worked with Exit Realty, pursuing her career with dedication and passion. Amber married the love of her life, Noah Blackwood, on November 25, 2023, and together they shared the joy of raising their beloved daughter, Ava Shea Blackwood.
Amber is survived by her loving husband, Noah Blackwood; daughter, Ava Shea Blackwood; parents, Daniel and Kelly Lee; brother, Austin Blakely (Heather); sister, Karson Shea Lee; nephew, Aceyn Blakely; grandmother, Karen Lee; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends who cherished her deeply.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Blountsville Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Graves Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Blountsville Funeral Home.
Amber will be remembered for her kind heart, radiant smile, and unwavering love for her family, especially her daughter Ava Shea. Friends and family recall her generosity, warmth, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her bright spirit, compassion, and devotion to those she loved leave a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Though Amber’s life was tragically short, her memory and the love she shared will endure in the hearts of her family, friends, and community. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
