Jacob Cole Denbow, age 22, of New Athens, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025, in Belleville, Illinois. Jacob was a devoted truck driver for Beelman Truck Company, known for his strong work ethic and gentle nature.

He is survived by his loving parents, Bob (Mandi) Denbow and Nicole (Ben Pugh) Walker; his siblings Nora Jo Denbow, Nash Pugh, and Hattie Pugh, all from New Athens; and his girlfriend, Taylor Friederich of Mascoutah, Illinois. Jacob was also cherished by his grandparents Jim and Linda Walker, Gary and Debbie Kearns, Jim Denbow, Johnny and Tammie Pugh, Tom and Gail Klopmeyer, and his two great-grandmothers, Ruth Isselhard and Jerry Walsh.
In addition to his immediate family, Jacob is remembered fondly by his aunts Kylie, Amy, and Chas; uncles Jared and Justin; many other relatives and friends; and his beloved pets, Aria and Molly, who brought him great joy.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jacob’s life during visitation on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in New Athens. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Robert Koch officiating.
