It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Briley Abner England, age 16, of Albany, Kentucky, who lost his life in a car accident on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Clinton County. Briley’s bright spirit, kind heart, and strong character touched the lives of all who knew him. His loss is deeply felt by his family, friends, classmates, coworkers, and the entire community.

Briley was born on November 24, 2008, in Glasgow, Kentucky, the beloved son of John “Nat” England and Christy (Stockton) Klipp. A proud junior at Clinton County High School, Class of 2027, Briley was known for his academic excellence and involvement in school activities. He was a member of the Beta Club, the Debate Team, and the Gifted and Talented Program, all of which reflected his intelligence, curiosity, and drive.
Outside of school, Briley worked as a dockhand at Marina@Rowena, where he quickly became a beloved member of the team. His dedication, professionalism, and warm personality made him a favorite among guests and staff alike. The Rowena family shared that Briley was “smart, kind, thoughtful, caring, and diligent”—a shining example of what it means to take pride in your work and treat others with compassion.
Briley had a deep love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and a passion for music, often playing acoustic guitar in his free time. He also enjoyed spending time with friends playing video games, and he had a genuine interest in firearms and marksmanship. Most of all, Briley was devoted to his family. He was a loyal brother, a loving son, and a proud uncle to his nephew, Weston.
Briley is survived by his parents; his siblings Brett (Kasey) England, Brennan (Bridget) England, Asher Colt Klipp, Hunter, Kolby, and Ryder Johnson; his nephew Weston; maternal grandparents David and Rebecca Stockton; paternal grandmother Doris Lowe England; grandparents David and Ava Jane Armstrong; and his girlfriend Lily Pence. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Edward England.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21 from 2:30–8:00 p.m. CT at Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, KY. The funeral will follow on Wednesday, October 22 at 10:00 a.m. CT, with Bro. Jeff Thompson officiating.
Briley will be forever remembered for his kindness, work ethic, and the joy he brought to so many. His light will never fade.
