It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that the Bowling Green community mourns the loss of Charley Linea Fancher, a bright and loving 14-year-old whose life was tragically cut short in a devastating crash late Friday night, October 17, 2025, in Glasgow, Kentucky. The accident, which occurred at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and North Jackson Highway, claimed the lives of three young people, including Charley, and left several others injured.
Charley was known for her radiant smile, kind heart, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her laughter was infectious, her energy boundless, and her compassion for others truly remarkable. Whether she was spending time with her family, laughing with friends, or expressing her creativity, Charley embraced life with an open heart and a joyful spirit.
Those who knew her describe her as a sweet, gentle soul full of light, curiosity, and dreams for the future. Though her time on earth was heartbreakingly short, Charley’s love and kindness will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
