SEATTLE — The Seattle community is reeling after a young man, known by friends and online followers as “Scooterverz,” was fatally shot in the city’s Northgate neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
According to the Seattle Police Department, officers were called to the parking lot of a hotel near Northgate Way and Meridian Avenue North following reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite efforts by police and medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say no suspect information has been confirmed at this time. Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) spent several hours processing the area, gathering evidence, and reviewing surveillance footage as detectives work to uncover what led to the shooting.
Friends of the victim have described “Scooterverz” as a vibrant, kindhearted young man who brought positivity and creativity to those around him. His sudden and tragic passing has left many in shock and mourning.
