One of the victims, identified as Ernest Adams, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment; their condition has not yet been released.

Authorities have not released details on a possible motive or whether the suspect and victims knew each other. The area surrounding Ridgewood Apartments was temporarily cordoned off as detectives gathered evidence and spoke with witnesses.
