Described as a beautiful, talented young lady with an infectious smile and unwavering warmth, Kennedy touched lives both on and off the field. Friends, teammates, and coaches remember her as an outstanding softball player whose dedication and heart defined her presence in the game.
“Kennedy touched every life she encountered with her warmth, kindness, and incredible spirit,” one community member shared. “Her light shined brightly both on and off the field.”
A Beloved Athlete Remembered
Kennedy played for the Winter Springs Softball program and was part of the Ohana Girls 12U travel ball team, where she was known not only for her skill but also for her compassion and team spirit.

UCF announced they will honor Kennedy with a moment of silence before their fall game on Friday at 6:45 p.m.

The Ohana Girls 12U Travel Ball team, where Kennedy trained and played, also released an emotional tribute.
“Yesterday was one of the most emotional days I’ve ever had as a father, friend, and coach,” her coach wrote. “Kennedy wasn’t just an elite athlete — she was part of our Ohana. It breaks my heart to think of the pain she was carrying inside that none of us could see.”
He continued with a heartfelt message about the importance of mental health and communication among young athletes:
“As adults, as parents, as coaches, we have to keep reminding our kids that it’s ok to talk, it’s ok to ask for help, and it’s ok to not be OK. My heart hurts for our softball community, her teammates, and everyone who loved Kennedy. You’ll always have a place in our hearts, on the field, and with our Ohana.”
