Born on July 9, 1991, in Houston, Texas, Brittany was the beloved daughter of Jeff and Mindy Hildebrand and the cherished sister of Jeffery and John Thomas. From a young age, Brittany demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to both academics and athletics. She graduated from Episcopal High School in Houston in 2010, where she was a standout student-athlete, earning varsity letters in both track and cross country, leaving behind a lasting legacy of hard work and determination.
Her love for horses and equestrian sports was a defining aspect of her life. Brittany had been riding since she was a child and had a natural talent for hunters and junior hunters. Under the guidance of trainer Patty Roberts, Brittany became an accomplished equestrian, with notable achievements including placing sixth in the junior hunters at the prestigious 2008 Devon Horse Show and winning the grand champion title in the children’s 15–17 division at the 2008 Glen Rose Show. These accomplishments were just the beginning of her successful career in the equestrian world.
Brittany continued her passion for horses at Texas A&M University, where she was an integral part of the national championship equestrian team. During her time at A&M, Brittany majored in general studies and was recognized with the Texas A&M Athletics Scholar Award, a reflection of her strong academic performance and commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the field.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Brittany was described by those who knew her as compassionate, graceful, and deeply kind.
