SUPPORT THE FAMILY, GOD BLESS YOU

The discovery marks a critical development in an investigation that has left the community shaken and searching for answers after a brazen act of violence unfolded in broad daylight.

According to law enforcement sources, the truck in question was found in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, approximately 25 miles from where the shooting took place.

Allegheny County Police confirmed that investigators are actively pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for the killing. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Jacks Run Road and Lincoln Way, near a Wendy’s restaurant — an area known for steady traffic and local businesses.

The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Kenneth Hayman, who police say was riding his motorcycle when he was ambushed. Sources told KDKA-TV that Hayman, a member of a local motorcycle club, was shot at least twice in the back before collapsing onto the pavement.

Witnesses described the harrowing scene as chaotic and terrifying, with gunfire erupting in the middle of the afternoon as startled bystanders took cover. One of those witnesses, Jasmine Reinhart, was working in the shopping plaza directly behind the Wendy’s when the shots rang out.

“I heard about five gunshots,” Reinhart recalled. “When I looked, I saw the man fall off his motorcycle. My manager said he tried to crawl toward Wendy’s for help right after the shots were fired.” Her voice trembled as she described the aftermath, with sirens blaring and people running in confusion.

Authorities have revealed that the suspects were inside a pickup truck during the shooting, armed with long guns and wearing masks. The nature of the attack, coupled with the shooters’ preparedness and the daylight timing, has led police to believe that the killing may have been targeted rather than random.

Reinhart expressed cautious optimism upon learning that the truck had been recovered in Mount Pleasant. “If they found the truck there, they’re guaranteed to find the guys soon, right? They can’t be too far,” she said, voicing a sentiment shared by many residents eager for closure and justice.

Her girlfriend, Kayla Vezzani, who also works nearby, echoed the community’s growing unease. “This definitely looked like something targeted,” Vezzani said. “Who would just go out in masks in the middle of the day and open fire like that? We’re all a little shook — scared, worried. What’s going on? Why would somebody do that in broad daylight?”

As investigators continue processing evidence from the recovered vehicle, police are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the truck’s movements to come forward. For now, White Oak residents remain on edge, grappling with the reality that such a violent and deliberate act could happen in the heart of their town.
