VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A man was taken into custody following a high-speed police chase in Van Nuys that ended in a rollover crash Thursday night.
The suspect, who police say was wanted for an unspecified felony warrant, sped across city streets before driving over a spike strip. He eventually lost a tire and kept driving on just three wheels for a time.
The pursuit came to an end when he crashed into a parked car and flipped over near Calvert Street and Cedros Avenue.
AIR7 was overhead and officers pulled the man from the passenger side of the overturned car. He appeared injured and was taken to the hospital.
