UPLAND, Calif. (KABC) — Newly-released body camera footage shows the moment a police officer saved a choking baby in Upland.

The incident unfolded Monday afternoon in the area of 13th Street and Campus Avenue, according to the Upland Police Department.
When they arrived, officers saw the baby was unresponsive. Video shows one officer working on clearing the child’s airway and starting CPR.
Paramedics then took over, rushing the child to the hospital. Police say the baby is doing well and is expected to recover.
