The Fayette County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred Tuesday night on East Seventh Street as 19-year-old Ja’Zarion Robinson. His cause of death has been confirmed as a gunshot wound.
According to Lexington Police, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East Seventh Street shortly after 8:15 p.m. on September 30 following reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered Robinson inside a residence, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case is now being investigated as a homicide. Police have not yet released details on possible suspects or motives behind the shooting.
