It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Joshua Hogde, 21, who tragically lost his life in a car accident early Saturday morning in Ashe County, North Carolina.
Joshua was driving along NC Highway 88 near Elliot Road when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch. Despite the efforts of emergency responders and being transported to Ashe Memorial Hospital, Joshua did not survive his injuries. His sudden departure has left family, friends, and the community deeply shaken.
Joshua will be remembered for his kind heart, bright spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. Though his time on earth was far too short, he touched many lives and created lasting memories with those he loved.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash, but what remains certain is the irreplaceable loss felt by all who knew Joshua.
