With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of Angelissa Jeter, a 30-year-old beloved daughter, friend, and vibrant soul from Florence, New Jersey, who tragically passed away in a car accident on the morning of Sunday, September 28, 2025.
According to authorities, Angelissa was driving north on the I-295 ramp to Route 29 in Hamilton when her vehicle veered into the right shoulder and struck a concrete barrier. The car then crossed the lanes and hit another barrier. Despite emergency efforts, Angelissa succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Those who knew Angelissa remember her for her bright smile, compassionate spirit, and unwavering love for her family and community. She carried warmth wherever she went and touched the lives of many with her kindness and strength. Her presence lit up rooms, and her laughter brought joy to everyone around her.
