A section of London Road near the River Crouch was closed Friday after police responded to a serious stabbing incident.
Essex Police confirmed they were called to River View, London Road, where a man was found unresponsive by the roadside. Emergency services attended the scene, and officers quickly closed the London Road Bridge to traffic in one direction while investigations were carried out.
At this stage, authorities have not released details about the victim’s condition or whether any arrests have been made. Police described the incident as “serious” and said inquiries remain ongoing.
Motorists have been advised to seek alternative routes while the road remains partially closed.
