STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga.—Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in DeKalb County after a man was found shot to death inside a vehicle Thursday Night
DeKalb County Police and the DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to a gas station at the intersection of Central Drive and North Harrison, where the victim was discovered inside a car.
Family members at the scene told investigators the shooting occurred along Shelia Lane, not far from where the vehicle ultimately came to a stop.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities have not announced any suspect information, and the investigation remains active. Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact DeKalb County Police or Crime Stoppers Atlanta.
