The University of Missouri and the St. Louis community are grieving the loss of Tyson Knapp, a 20-year-old student and athlete who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
A proud member of Webster Groves High School’s Class of 2024, Tyson was known for his dedication both in the classroom and on the baseball field. As a talented right-handed pitcher (RHP), he inspired teammates and coaches alike with his determination, leadership, and love for the game.
Those who knew Tyson describe him as more than just an athlete. He was a kind, resilient, and generous young man whose presence left a lasting impression on friends, family, and classmates. His deep ties to the St. Louis area made him a beloved figure in the community, where his warmth and spirit touched many lives.
