Authorities have identified 60-year-old John Sedano as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred this past weekend in Hillsborough County.

The crash happened in the area of East Busch Boulevard while Sedano was riding his bicycle. Despite emergency response efforts, he tragically succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the collision. The driver involved fled the scene, and investigators are continuing their search for the suspect.

Sedano, originally from the Philippines, was a longtime resident of Tampa. Before retirement, he built a reputation as an experienced and focused customer service professional, consistently meeting and exceeding professional goals throughout his career.
