Page High School in Greensboro was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon after reports of police activity on campus.
A student on campus told our newsroom: “Lots of police at our campus on 201 Alma Pinnix Drive, Greensboro, NC. Page High School is on LOCKDOWN.”
Multiple law enforcement officers were seen in and around the school grounds as the situation unfolded.
As of now, Guilford County Schools has not released any official details about the nature of the incident, and authorities have not confirmed whether there is an active threat.
