SUPPORT THE FAMILY, GOD BLESS YOU

Whether it was cheering from the sidelines, helping with school projects, or coaching his children’s sports teams, he poured his energy into making sure his kids always felt loved, supported, and encouraged. His presence was steady, his laughter infectious, and his love unwavering.

Those who knew Scott remember him as more than just a family man—he was also a loyal friend, a dedicated coach, and a caring member of his community. Scott had a natural ability to bring people together, whether through his work with local youth sports or simply by offering a helping hand to a neighbor in need.

His passion for coaching, particularly with TYSA, was evident in the way he mentored young athletes and inspired them to play with teamwork, respect, and heart. Most recently, he coached his daughter’s Bantam team, creating memories that the players and their families will carry with them forever.

The Tyngsboro Youth Soccer Association (TYSA) community, along with countless others who had the privilege of knowing Scott, are deeply mourning his loss. To honor his memory, TYSA has invited families and athletes to gather together in solidarity, wearing their jerseys as a tribute to a man who gave so much to the organization.

On Sunday, September 14th at 8:45 p.m., a police escort will travel in Scott’s honor through the intersection of Wildwood Street and Woburn Street in Wilmington, a poignant reminder of the impact Scott made on so many lives.

In addition to the outpouring of love, friends and supporters have rallied to help Becky and the children in the wake of this heartbreaking tragedy. With the suddenness of Scott’s passing, the family faces unexpected financial burdens along with the unimaginable emotional toll. A support fund has been created to ease these challenges, allowing Becky and the children to focus on healing and honoring Scott’s memory.

While words can never fully capture the depth of this loss, they can reflect the love and admiration so many felt for Scott. He will be remembered as a man who put family first, who gave his time generously, and who left a lasting imprint on every person he met.

The Dunnett family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out, prayed, donated, or shared kind words during this time of sorrow. Though Scott’s absence leaves a tremendous void, his spirit lives on in the love of his family, the resilience of his children, and the countless lives he touched.
