Born on August 13, 1980, Dennis dedicated his life to serving others. A proud Marine Corps veteran, he served 11 years of active duty, including two tours in Afghanistan and the Middle East. During his final years in the military, he was stationed in San Diego as a Drill Instructor, shaping and guiding new Marines with discipline, care, and unwavering integrity.
Dennis’s commitment to service extended beyond the military. He gave back to his community as a volunteer firefighter and trained EMT, always ready to help those in need. Most recently, he worked as an AirComm Dispatcher at Rochester Airport, where his professionalism, calm demeanor, and warm sense of humor made him a trusted friend to many.
Dennis was a man of honor and heart — always respectful, always ready to lend a hand, and always quick to share a laugh or lighten a difficult moment. His passions included his country, the Marines, and the companionship of his beloved service dog, Paulie. Above all, he was deeply devoted to his family, holding his mother, Mary, and his late father, Dennis Sr., close in love and loyalty.
He is predeceased by his father, Dennis Sr., and his brother, Frank. He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Joy; his sisters, Michelle (Sean) and Christine (Jim); cherished nephews and nieces; his great-niece; his lifelong friends, Brian, Colin, Danny, and Jeremy; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
