A Bono man has died following an early morning semi-truck crash Friday in Greene County, authorities confirmed.

Sheriff Brad Snyder said deputies with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, along with Arkansas State Police, responded to the scene on Highway 90 south of Delaplaine. The roadway was shut down for several hours while crews worked the crash site.
According to Arkansas State Police, the semi-truck driven by Randall “Randy” Williams Nicholas, 60, of Bono, left the roadway and overturned. Nicholas died from his injuries.
The highway was reopened around 9 a.m., Snyder said.
Nicholas was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. He was originally from Walnut Ridge and lived in Bono at the time of his passing.
Authorities have not released further details about what may have caused the crash.
