Jonessa Comer Modesto CA Obituary, Jonessa Comer Cause of Death:
Dear friends and family, as many of you are aware, the world was recently deprived of an incredibly special person due to the sudden and tragic accident that took Jones from us. Her untimely passing has left an unfathomable absence in the lives of her loved ones, who continue to grieve the loss of her vibrant energy and unwavering love. As her Uncle Joel so poignantly said, “A very bright light has gone out.” Indeed, Jones’ life was a shining example of kindness, dedication, and the importance of family and community.
Jones was a devoted mother to her two beloved sons, Finnegan (Finn) and McCoy (Goose), who were the center of her world. She poured her heart into raising them, providing love, guidance, and laughter every single day. She was also the loving wife of Max, a supportive sister to Ivy, Jodin, and Jonah, a caring aunt to Adrian, and a treasured daughter to Joe and her stepmother, Janelle.
Jones was adored by her extended family, including cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends who became family. Her two dogs, BeetleJuice and Grimm, were also recipients of her endless affection, highlighting her nurturing spirit and capacity to love unconditionally.
Jones’ personality was larger than life. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Her generosity of spirit, infectious laughter, and warm heart created bonds that transcended the ordinary, leaving an enduring impression on everyone she met. Those who knew her often described her as selfless, compassionate, and full of energy—a person who gave of herself without hesitation and whose love and light will never be forgotten.
In the wake of her passing, her non-immediate family has created a GoFundMe with the permission of her husband, Max. The suddenness of this loss has placed tremendous strain on her family, both emotionally and financially.
Donations will be used to cover costs related to her memorial and to assist her family with essential needs such as food, school supplies, and mortgage payments during this extraordinarily difficult season. Any remaining funds will be dedicated to supporting her sweet boys, Finn and McCoy, ensuring that they continue to be nurtured and cared for in the loving environment their mother would have wanted.
