The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Friday morning on Vereen Road in Ash.
Deputies confirmed that a 20-year-old male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives have since identified the suspect as Jonathon Jayden Babson-Hill (DOB: 07/03/2004).
Babson-Hill is wanted in connection with the incident and should be considered armed and dangerous. Authorities are urging the public not to approach him.
