Honoring the Life of a Devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of my father. For those who may not know, he suffered a stroke on September 5 of last year. This past year has been an incredibly difficult journey for him, as well as for my mother, my sister, and myself. Yesterday, September 3—nearly one year later—he was called home to be with the Lord and is finally at peace.
He passed away around 11:00 a.m. My father was a devoted husband of over 50 years, a loving grandfather, a man who valued hard work, and someone who taught me how to love my children. Though he carried a tough exterior, those who truly knew him will always remember the big heart he had.
We are still finalizing the details for his service and will share them soon. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you keep our family in your prayers as we honor and remember a great man who has gone home to Jesus.
