Authorities in Hyattsville say a body has been discovered as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Erica Perry, a 43-year-old woman who was reported missing last week.
Body Found Amid Search for Missing Woman
Police issued a Critical Missing Person Alert for Perry after she was last seen on the afternoon of August 25, 2025, in the 6200 block of Belcrest Road. At the time, officials noted concerns for her well-being.
Perry was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. A clothing description was not available when she was reported missing. She was believed to be driving a white 2017 Toyota Camry with Maryland license plate 6DK7385.
The Hyattsville Police Department confirmed that a body has been located, though the identity has not yet been formally released pending confirmation by the medical examiner. Investigators have not disclosed details surrounding the discovery
