It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Charlie Groom, our much-loved Dad, Grandad, Brother, and Uncle, who left us peacefully on the 18th of August. Charlie was a true gentleman whose warmth, kindness, and love touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered always for his generous heart, his gentle spirit, and the joy he brought to his family and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Charlie’s life will be held on Thursday, 25th September at 3:00 p.m. at The Oaks Havant Crematorium, Barton’s Road, Havant, PO9 5NA. The family kindly requests that all who wish to pay their respects join them directly at the Crematorium.
In keeping with Charlie’s wishes, family flowers only please. For those who would like to honor his memory, a donation box will be available at the service in support of the Alzheimer’s Society, a cause close to the family’s heart.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has called, visited, and sent such kind and thoughtful words of comfort during this difficult time. Your love and support mean more than we can express.
Charlie was deeply loved and will be forever missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
