On August 30th, my lifelong friend, Susie Goodrich Levi, passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. My heart is broken, but I find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.
The last two years were unimaginably difficult for Susie and her family, yet she faced every challenge with strength, grace, and incredible determination. At just 68, she was taken from us far too soon, but throughout her illness she showed the same resilience and humor that defined her life. Susie was a fierce warrior, but also one of the funniest, most genuine people I’ve ever known.
We grew up together, sharing birthdays, adventures, and endless childhood antics that still make me smile as I look back through old photos. Childhood friendships are something rare and irreplaceable — they carry a depth of understanding and a lifetime of memories that cannot be recreated. Susie was that rare gift in my life, and I will forever be grateful for the bond we shared.
Her passing is a reminder to treasure the friends who have known you from the beginning, those who carry pieces of your story within their own hearts. Susie’s memory will always be a blessing, not only to me but to everyone lucky enough to have known her warmth, humor, and love.
I will remember you forever, Susie. Thank you for a lifetime of friendship, laughter, and love. Until we meet again, my dear friend. 🕊️💜
