It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Joanne on Thursday, August 28th. Her loss is not only deeply felt by her family and friends, but also by our entire community.
Joanne was the heart of the Dog House family — a warm, welcoming presence who made every person feel seen, valued, and loved. She never met a stranger. To her, everyone was a friend, and her gift of friendship was one of the greatest blessings she shared. Joanne had a way of making people feel instantly comfortable, as if you had known her your whole life.
She was a beautiful soul inside and out — kind, generous, and always ready to lend a hand or an ear to anyone in need. Her laughter, her caring spirit, and her endless capacity for love touched countless lives. To know Joanne truly was to love her.
Though her life was taken from us far too soon, we remain deeply grateful for the time we were able to share with her. It is nearly impossible to imagine a world without her light, but her love and her memory will continue to live on in all of us.
A funeral Mass will be held for Joanne on Tuesday, September 2nd at 10 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Roman Catholic Church, 1050 Littleton Rd, Parsippany, NJ. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
