A tragic car accident early Tuesday morning on Interstate 95 claimed the life of 40-year-old Tyler Cochran of Skagway, Alaska. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes near mile marker 161, prompting a rapid response from Maine State Troopers.

Authorities reported that Cochran’s vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof in the highway median. Emergency responders arrived around 1:28 a.m. and had to extricate him from the overturned car before he was pronounced dead at the scene.
