A Montana man fatally shot himself at the entrance of the Walmart store in Bozeman on Sunday.
The Bozeman Police Department responded to a call at approximately 2:18 PM on August 10. According to law enforcement, an adult male shot himself in the head. BPD partially evacuated the store as EMS arrived at the scene.
Law enforcement said there is no pending threat to the public while describing the incident as a suicide.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
The Walmart on 1500 N 7th Ave, Bozeman, MT, will remain open, the store announced.
