A tragic crash in Berrinba on the night of August 1 has claimed the life of a 21-year-old man from Logan Central.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., the rider of a green Kawasaki ZX10R motorcycle was travelling west on Gilmore Road when the vehicle collided with a parked truck trailer. The rider, who was the sole occupant of the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities are working to determine what led to the fatal collision and are appealing to the public for assistance.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage of the motorcycle in the moments leading up to the accident is urged to come forward.
