Primary School-Aged Child Injured After Being Struck by Police Vehicle in Logan, South of Brisbane

A primary school-aged boy has been injured after being struck by a police car on a Queensland road on Friday afternoon.

It is understood the 10-year-old was walking alongside an adult in Logan, south of Brisbane, when the incident happened just before 3pm.

He was struck by the vehicle at the intersection of Wembley Road and Jacaranda Avenue.

The child has been taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital with significant facial injuries.

He was in a stable condition.

Authorities have confirmed a police vehicle was involved.

Queensland Police Service has been contacted for further comment.
