Queensland police can now search for weapons without a warrant in all public places under Jack’s Law.
This legislation honours 17-year-old Jack Beasley, who tragically lost his life in 2019 during a night out with friends in Surfers Paradise.
By making Jack’s Law permanent, we’re prioritising the safety of the community and putting the rights of victims first.
