Police Chief Lawrence Weathers said investigators are still working to determine a motive, though early indications suggest the shooter may have had personal ties to some of the victims. No official statement has been made regarding any ideological motivations.
However, social media and preliminary records indicate House was a recent convert to radical ideologies and had expressed pro-Palestinian and anti-Western sentiments in the past.
