A night out turned tragic in downtown Milwaukee early Saturday morning, when gunfire erupted near a popular bar district, leaving one man dead and four others injured.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased as 52-year-old Antwan Hogans. According to Milwaukee Police, the shooting occurred just after midnight near North Water Street and East Michigan Street, a busy area known for nightlife and entertainment.
In addition to Hogans, four other men—aged 30, 32, 34, and 39 — were struck by gunfire. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, and officials say their injuries are non-life-threatening. As of now, all four victims are expected to survive.
