A tragic incident unfolded Friday morning at a hair salon in Arlington, Texas, where a man and a woman were found shot in what police are calling an apparent murder-suicide. Authorities confirmed that both individuals have died as a result of the shooting, which occurred at Salon and Spa Galleria, located in the 7800 block of South Cooper Street.
Arlington police said they received a 911 call around 10:15 a.m. reporting gunshots heard inside the salon. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man lying unresponsive inside the establishment, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders attempted lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nearby, police found a woman also suffering from a gunshot wound they believe was self-inflicted. She was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, but despite efforts by medical staff, she was also pronounced dead a short time later.

However, investigators have confirmed that the man and woman knew each other and that the shooting appears to be an isolated domestic incident. “I was in the back with a client when I heard a loud bang,” said one stylist who asked not to be named. “I didn’t know what it was, and then someone ran in yelling to call 911. It was terrifying.”
